Robyn walks for The Whitechapel!!

On the 7th July Robyn English, wife of Gary who works here at The Whitechapel Centre, is taking part in this year's Moonlight Colourthon in Essex.
The Colourthon is organised by  the Round Table, all the details can be found on their web site: http://www.colourthon.org/moonlight_colourthon.

The event has pledged to raise over £665,000 to date, for over 525 charities, and thanks to Robyn, we are now a part of that!
Robyn herself took part last year, and as a complete coincidence she is this year's 'poster girl' as her photo has been used in the 2012 campaign, I think due to her excellent choice of outfit, very fitting for the event.

Though I am sure the brightly coloured clothes will bring alot of fun to the event, it is a very long way to walk, particularly in the twilight hours of the day.
We are thrilled that Robyn has nominated us as one of her chosen charities, all we have to do now is sponser her! She has set up a just giving page at http://www.justgiving.com/Robyn-English  (click on the link) and it is available now.
Please, please support Robyn in her efforts, all funds raised are hugely appreciated will be going to a very worthwhile cause.
For more information on the services that we provide at The Whitechapel Centre, and to see what your money can help to do please go to our website at http://www.whitechapelcentre.co.uk/.

It is a twilight walk and is 13.1 miles long, made up  of beautiful views, quaint villages, and all whilst the participants are dressed in the brightest, wackiest colours they can get their hands on!
