This Friday The Whitechapel's drama group 'Kabin Krew' will be performing their own song, written and perfomred by service users from our Enablement Centre.
The group formed in Febraury this year, when Abi from Collective Encounters (theatre for social change) started to hold drop in sessions on a Wednesday mornings at The Whitechapel Centre, Langsdale Street.
The sessions were held to encourage people to perform, find hidden talents, work as a part of a team, and to build confidence.
The results have been amazing, with 12 members that attended the session writing a song together called 'Seize the Day'. The first public performance of the song will be this Friday 18th May, 7.30pm at The Brink, Parr Street.
It is a part of the Liverpool Light Night Event, and is a huge recognition of the work, time, effort and talent that the Kabin Krew have put in, please come and see them!
There will be photos and videos to follow for all those unable to make it on the night, until then sending a massive GOOD LUCK to Abi and Kabin Krew!!
